Robert A. Crisanti has been practicing law in Western
Pennsylvania since 1985. After graduating from Central
Catholic High School of Pittsburgh in 1978, he attended
Ohio State University, graduating with distinction in
1982, with a dual degree in Economics and Political Science.
Robert then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where
he earned his juris doctorate in 1985, with a concentration in criminal
defense and trial tactics. Robert also interned with the Allegheny County
District Attorney’s Office, being one of three internships while attending
Law School, as well served as an active member of the National Lawyers
Guild.
Following graduation from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law,
Robert founded a general practice, focusing his attention on family law,
criminal defense, plaintiff’s personal injury, workers’ compensation, and
estate planning. He has had extensive experience in briefing and arguing
criminal cases before the Pennsylvania appellate courts as well as
litigating a multitude of divorces and custody claims.
In 1990, Robert accepted a part-time position with the Allegheny County
Public Defender’s Office, where he worked diligently for three years as an
assistant public defender in the appellate division, preparing over one
hundred fifty appellate briefs and arguing twenty cases before
Pennsylvania’s appellate courts.
Robert has also enjoyed membership with the Allegheny County Bar
Association since 1985 and has been honored for his volunteer services to
the legal community and is a member of the La Salle Society of Central
Catholic High School.
He is dedicated to continuing to serve his clients and to deliver a level of
personal service that is unsurpassed.
